At Southern Smokehouse, our story is rooted in hard work, family values, and a passion for authentic barbecue. After spending years building a career within the corporate world, David made the life-changing decision to step away from the traditional path and pursue a dream that had been growing for years — creating a barbecue food truck and catering business focused on quality, community, and unforgettable flavor.   What started as a leap of faith quickly became a labor of love. From the very beginning, we chose to grow slowly and intentionally, never sacrificing quality for speed. Every recipe, every smoked meat, and every side dish was carefully crafted with the goal of delivering true Southern comfort food that people could gather around and enjoy. During our first year, everything was prepared, cooked, and stored directly from our 20-foot food truck — long days and late nights fueled by determination and a passion for serving great food.

As support from the community continued to grow, so did our vision. In our second year, Southern Smokehouse expanded by opening a professional commissary kitchen, allowing us to increase our catering capabilities and better serve local events, weddings, private parties, festivals, and corporate gatherings. This expansion gave us the opportunity to continue improving our operations while staying true to the quality and personal touch that built our reputation from the start. Today, Southern Smokehouse is more than just a food truck — it’s a family-driven business built on dedication, authenticity, and a genuine love for bringing people together through great barbecue.
